An activist of anti-discrimination students' movement Kadrul Hasan, who had been missing since Thursday, was found in an unconscious state in the city on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Police and local people said Ahsanullah, an Imam (Scholar) of Madinabad Jame Mosque under Labanchara Police Station in the city, spotted Kadrul unconscious before Fazr prayers.
A devotee (Musolli) Shahriar Imam told the news agency he (Kadrul) was found in an unconscious state on the mosque premises around 4.50 am early this morning.
Being informed, police and locals rushed to the scene and sent him to the Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Labanchara Police Station Anup Kumar said, "We confirmed Kadrul's identity from his NID and college ID card kept in his money bag (wallet)”.
Quoting duty doctor, he said that his condition is improving gradually.
Kadrul Hasan, a student of City's Government Hazi Mohammad Muhasin College and a part time employee of Sheikhpara Popular Diagonestic Center, remained missing since Thursday afternoon as he went outside from the Sonar Bangla lane residence under Sonadanga Police Station in the city.
