Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain said Dhaka is not worried about India's defense minister Rajnath Singh's statement on war preparations to maintain peace, but surprised.
Touhid Hossain said there is no possibility of war between India and Bangladesh.
He said this at the regular press briefing on Sunday afternoon.
The foreign adviser said, “We will see in what context and for what reason Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said this. India will not talk about fighting its neighbors just because of the Israel-Hamas, Russia-Ukraine wars.”
However, Bangladesh will not give any response to it, he said.
Touhid Hossain said, “India can give political asylum to Sheikh Hasina. We will want to know later whether Sheikh Hasina is given political asylum there.”
