The chief adviser of the interim government professor Muhammad Yunus said that the main list of casualties in the anti-discrimination movement has been completed. At present, the information of those whose bodies have been taken far and wide is being collected and the completeness of the information is being given.
He gave this information in a message given on the occasion of the month anniversary of the student uprising on Thursday.
Dr. Yunus said, “One of our main responsibilities is to ensure free treatment of thousands of people who were seriously injured during the revolution. Many young students lost their sight as Sheikh Hasina's miscreants fired rubber bullets at their eyes. We will try our best to restore the light of their eyes.”
He said, “We are working continuously to prepare the complete list of martyrs and injured. The main list is done. Now only the information is being collected about those whose dead bodies have been taken far away and the information is being given completeness.”
The Chief Adviser said that hundreds of people injured in the movement who require long-term treatment, are in the final stages of setting up a foundation to take care of their costly treatment and the families of the martyrs. We will never forget those whose martyrdom gave birth to new Bangladesh.
