Responsibilities of various ministries and divisions have been redistributed among the members of the interim government.
This information was given in a notification of the Cabinet Department on Tuesday.
According to the latest decision, the chief adviser Muhammad Yunus has been given the responsibility of six ministries or divisions.
These are –Cabinet Division, Ministry of Defence, Department of Armed Forces, Ministry of Foods, Ministry of Public Administration and Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
Advisor Saleh Uddin Ahmed has been assigned to Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, and Ministry of Science and Technology.
Advisor Hasan Arif has been assigned to Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Ministry of Lands.
Adviser Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. M Sakhawat Hossain has been assigned to Ministry of Textiles and Jute and Ministry of Shipping.
Adviser Sharmin S. Murshid has been assigned to Ministry of Social Welfare and Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.
Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain issued this notification by the order of the President.
