Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir reached out to lakhs of orphaned and disadvantaged children across the country with foods on the occasion of his birthday on Tuesday.
Born on January 31, 1981, he obtained higher education from reputed institutions in England and took over as Managing Director the largest corporate body at the age of 20.
Apart from flourishing Bashundhara Group with innovative ideas and novel products, he has been working for welfare of the destitute and helpless people.
In Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna and other parts of the country, foods were distributed among the orphans and madrasah students.
Nearly 65,000 distressed children were given rich food at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
Bashundhara Group Managing Director himself supervised the food arrangement.
In Bhasantek of the capital, 350 students of madrasah were given rich foods on the occasion of birthday of Bashundhara Group Managing Director.
In the port city Chattogram, over 20,000 madrasa students were distributed high-quality foods among children of various madrasas and orphanages.
The places include Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Alia Madrasa, Jamia Mahila Madrasa, Al Amin Baria Kamil Madrasa, Jamia Madania, Misbahul Ulum Madrasa, Sobhania Alia Kamil Madrasa, Wajedia Madrasa, Marqazut Dawah Talimul Quran Madrasa, Dampara Madrasa and Ashekane Awlia Fazil Madrasa, among others.
The madrasa students at that time offered special doa for the good health, long-life and prosperity of Sayem Sobhan Anvir, his family members, the country and the nation.
Foods were also distributed among homeless and distressed people in different areas, including Chattogram Railway Station and the shrines of Hazrat Amanat Shah (R), Hazrat Garibullah Shah (R), Hazrat Miskin Shah (R) and Hazrat Badna Shah (R).
Meanwhile, 50,000 orphans and madrasah students received foods at Sylhet, Khulna, Mongla, Gopalganj, and Bancharampur.
Distribution of food among destitute is a continuous process as Bashundhara Group Managing Director feeds 5,000 orphans and helpless children on every Friday.
