Malaysian new Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail will visit Dhaka in the first week of February next.
This will be the first foreign visit of Saifuddin Nasution after taking charge of the home ministry.
Md Golam Sarwar, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia paid a courtesy call on Saifuddin Nasution on Thursday.
In the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
Saifuddin Nasution discussed his upcoming Bangladesh visit in the meeting.
The Bangladesh High Commissioner welcomed the visit of the Malaysian new Home Minister terming it an important visit.
They also discussed Bangladeshi workers’ recruitment within a short time and low cost.
