Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) President Sayem Sobhan Anvir is working relentlessly to give the sector a global fit said BAJUS Vice-President Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shahin.
He said this while addressing a view exchange meeting with Naogaon unit leaders and activists of the organisation at a district venue on Friday.
Jewellers across the country have been united under an umbrella as envisaged by BAJUS President.
“Our President (BAJUS President) has underscored need for concerted effort to consolidate advancement of jewellery industry. The view exchange meetings with the district units are taking place in furtherance of his directive. He keeps abreast of happenings in the districts,” said Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shahin.
“Led by Sayem Sobhan Anvir, BAJUS will hold a view exchange meeting in Dhaka very soon. The presidents and general secretaries of grassroots will be president,” he added.
