Man stabbed dead in Chattagram

A 33- year-old man was stabbed to death on Friday night in Chattagram’s CDA residential area, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Kayes, son of Abu Taher of Koigram village of Jiri union of Karnafuli upazila.

Dulal Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Karnafuli Thana Police Station, said the youth was found lying on a road with stab injuries on his abdomen.

Someone might have dumped the body after killing him, he said.

A team has been investigating the murder, he added.
