Five devotees died so far at Bishwa Ijtema ground during the 2nd phase.
They died due to different complications during the last 21 hours till 12 am Saturday.
The devotees are Abdul Hannan, 45, of Dhaka's Kodomtoli; Md Borhan Uddin, 48, of Dhaka; Abdul Hamid Mandal, 55, of Gabandha; Mofizul Islam, 54, of Savar and Rafiqul Islam, 75, of Borguna, reports banglanews24.com.
On Saturday, Indian Islamic scholar Maulana Yeakub Ali conducted sermon after Fajr prayers.
Earlier, thousands of devotees from home and abroad attended Jumma prayers, led by Maulana Saad's son Yusuf bin Saad Kandhalvi, at the Ijtema ground on Friday.
The three-day Biswa Ijtema will end on Sunday with Akheri Munajat (final prayers).
Earlier, the first phase of the three-day Bishwa Ijtema was held from January 13-15.
