Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak said the government of Sheikh Hasina has massively developed the country’s agriculture sector and there is no food shortage in the country.
He made the remarks at the farmers’ meeting and exchanging views with the farmers of hybrid mustard seed and paddy at Baira Union under Singair Upazila in Manikganj on Monday.
The agriculture minister also called upon the people to vote for the ‘boat symbol’ to continue the development spree of agriculture.
Agriculture Secretary Wahida Akter presided over the farmers’ meeting while Department of Agricultural Extension Director General Badal Chandra Biswas was present.
Later, the agriculture minister visited arable land of hybrid mustard seed.
