Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has told Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty that Beirut is committed to Israel’s withdrawal from the country by February 18, according to a statement by the Lebanese presidency, reports Al Jazeera.
Lebanon “rejects any delay under any pretext”, Aoun told the Egyptian minister as he held talks with him in Beirut.
As we reported earlier, Israeli attacks on eastern Lebanon overnight killed two people and injured 10, according to the Lebanese authorities.
