At least 36 people have been killed and many others wounded after the Israeli regime targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip, as the occupying regime continues its deadly bombing campaign in the besieged territory, Press TV reported.
The Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement that the house belonged to the Tabatibi family, adding that the majority of those killed were children, and a pregnant woman was among the fatalities.
Palestine’s official Wafa news agency also reported that another air strike on the camp killed a further seven Palestinians, mostly women and children on Saturday.
Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in multiple Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Wafa reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a seven-storey residential building housing displaced people near al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing and wounding several people.
Israeli warplanes also bombed a residential house on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City, resulting in dozens of casualties.
An Israeli strike also hit a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the city, killing five civilians and injuring dozens of others.
