The number of Palestinians killed in Israel’s war on Gaza is nearing 30,000 with 76 people killed between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning bringing the death toll to 29,954, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, reports Al Jazeera.
A further 110 people were injured during the same period, bringing the total number of Palestinians suffering injuries in the war since October 7 to 70,325, the ministry reports.
Gaza’s Health Ministry also reported that six children had died from dehydration and malnutrition at the Kamal Adwan and al-Shifa hospitals, while others are in critical condition.
More recent reports claim that three more children have died, bringing the death toll at the two hospitals to nine.
