In a big security breach inside the Parliament on the anniversary of 2001 Parliament attack, two people jumped into the well of the House and hurled smoke bombs in a major security lapse when BJP lawmaker Khargen Murmu was speaking in Lok Sabha.
As per reports, the intruder has been identified as Sagar Sharma. The incident also comes amid a threat by Khalistan supporter Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who had threatened to launch an attack on Parliament, reports Economic Times.
Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a video in which he said he would attack the Indian Parliament on or before December 13.
On this day in 2001, members of Pakistan-based organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the Parliament complex killing nine people.
