Days after the Odisha's Balasore tragic train crash, another goods train carrying limestone derailed on Sunday morning in the state's (Odisha) Bargah district, around 500 km away from the recent Balasore crash site, reports BSS.
No casualties were reported so far as only a few coaches got derailed. Police have already reached the spot and begun a probe, according to media report.
There is a private narrow gauge rail line between the Dungri Limestone mines and the cement plant of ACC Bargarh. The line, wagons, and locomotive all are private and are in no way connected with the Indian Railway system, NDTV reported.
The accident occurred three days after India's deadliest rail crash in more than two decades, which killed 275 people and injured several hundred in Odisha's Balasore on Friday.
