Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has announced that flight operations will be temporarily suspended for 3.5 hours each night over the next week due to critical runway maintenance.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place from November 8 to 14, with work planned from 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM local time.
The suspension of flight operations during these hours will affect both landings and takeoffs, potentially leading to adjustments in flight schedules across various airlines.
To ensure passenger awareness, the airport authorities have already issued a Notice to Air Missions to inform all airlines and related organizations.
Passengers are advised to proactively check with their respective airlines regarding any changes to their flight itineraries. The airport authority recommended that travelers confirm their schedules in advance to avoid any disruptions to their travel plans.
