Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said on Monday that there is no scope to open educational institutions in the current situation.
He made the remarks in response to a question by the journalists after a meeting with the university teachers over the Prottoy pension scheme at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
While questioned about Monday’s protest by a faction of quota-reform agitators, the minister said he could say something after getting information.
He also denied saying anything discussed in the Cabinet meeting held on Monday over opening the primary schools.
