The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has initiated a comprehensive support programme aimed at providing aid, relief, and assistance to the flood-affected people, reports BSS.
This includes supporting emergency services and collaborating with government efforts to address the crisis.
The BCB president Faruque Ahmed said that the Bangladesh Cricket Teams stand firmly with the affected communities, as it did in the past in the country's crisis period.
"Our thoughts are with all those affected by the current floods. The Bangladesh Cricket Board is committed to supporting our fellow citizens during this difficult time. We are taking immediate steps to provide aid and relief, and we stand ready to assist in any way possible to help our nation recover and rebuild," Faruque Ahmed said.
"The BCB remains dedicated to supporting the country through this challenging period and will continue to coordinate efforts to deliver necessary assistance. We call upon everyone to come together and join this effort," he added.
