Swadhin Bangla footballer Saruj passes away

Swadhin Bangla Football Team member Aminul Islam Saruj passed away when he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka on Monday.

The war hero from Barishal was 74.

He breathed his last on Monday morning due to several old age complications, according to a source of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

In his career, he played for two traditional clubs, Abahani and Mohammedan.

He was a seasoned footballer of the Swadhin Bangla Football Team.
