A total of 20 underprivileged women from Palashbari upazila will participate in the training programme. Organisers expressed hope that after completing the course, the participants would be able to create self-employment opportunities through sewing work.
In his speech, Suruj Haque Liton said Bashundhara Shuvosangho has always been working for the development of disadvantaged people in society.
“This sewing training programme has been arranged to improve women’s skills and create opportunities for self-employment. When a woman becomes self-reliant, an entire family becomes self-reliant. We want women to create their own sources of income through this training and play a positive role in their families and society,” he said.
