Bashundhara Shuvosangho donated a tin shed house to a helpless man, Joynal Abedin, at Kandapara village, Joynagar union, Shibpur upazila, Narsingdi on Friday.
Mahbubur Rahman Manir, adviser at both Shuvosangho Upazila Committee and Central Committee, were present as chief guest at the “key handover event.”
“We feel truly elated after handing over the key of the house to a helpless senior person like Joynal Abedin. If the society’s wealth people come forward in a similar manner, poverty will fall drastically. Shuvosangho will continue such humanitarian initiatives in the future,” Mahbubur Rahman said.
Also present at the event were social worker Hanif Mahmud, Shuvosangho’s Shibpur Upazila Unit President Md Shafiq Mia, General Secretary Mahir Hasan and Advisers Afzal Hossain Manik and Shamsul Islam Bokul.
