Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Rangpur district unit arranged an iftar, doa and discussion programme with underprivileged people on Thursday.
The programme was held at the outdoor area of Pansi Convention Centre on College Road in Rangpur city.
During the event, Shuvosangho members shared iftar with underprivileged people. A special doa was also offered seeking peace, prosperity and welfare for the country and the nation.
A brief discussion meeting was held on the occasion. The discussion meeting was presided over by Rangpur district unit president of Bashundhara Shuvosangho and Associate Professor of Rangpur Government Begum Rokeya College, Lion Md Azharul Islam Dulal.
Among others, Vice-Presidents Abu Shams Md Armanul Haque, Adnan Babu Sagar, Arman Arafat Anik and Nusrat Naoshin Bushra, General Secretary Md Rakibul Hasan Rakib, Joint General Secretaries Al Humayra Jannat Oishi and Nafiz Iqbal, Assistant Organising Secretary Md Faiyaz Ahmed Fahim, Publicity Secretary Md Meftahul Islam Labib, Sohag Das, executive members Md Azmain Islam, Robi Das, Soumitra Barman Apu, James, Mosammat Nur Habiba Akter, Mosammat Mehjabin Rubaiya, Tanzim Hasan and Rangpur Bashundhara Shuvosangho Coordinator Ador Rahman, among others, spoke.
Speakers said the initiative was taken to spread the humanitarian lessons of the holy month of Ramadan and to stand beside underprivileged people.
