The Galachipa upazila unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised an iftar event for underprivileged children in Patuakhali District.
The iftar and prayer event was held on Thursday (19 February) beside the Fire Service Station in the municipal area, where more than 50 children from disadvantaged and low-income families took part.
A special doa and munajat were offered before the iftar.
Among those present were Member Secretary of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Galachipa unit Tarikul Islam Munna, executive committee member Hujjatul Islam, and members Koushik Albin, Imran Mahmud, Marjuk Nahian, Abdullah Al Noman, along with other members of the organisation.
The organisers said the programme was arranged as part of their social responsibility and commitment to stand beside underprivileged children in the community.
