With the slogan “Always by the side of good deeds,” Bashundhara Shuvosangho has announced the new committee for its Lalmonirhat district unit.
According to a press release signed by Shuvosangho Director Zakaria Zaman on Saturday, Md Jamal Hossain has been appointed as president, Md Nayeem Rahman as general secretary, and Mehedi Hasan Masud as organising secretary for a one-year term.
Besides, the committee’s advisers include social worker and businessperson Laila Habib, Sheikh Shafiuddin Commerce College Principal Entajur Rahman, businessperson Jahangir Alam, Kaler Kantho’s Lalmonirhat correspondent Haider Ali Babu, Bangladesh Pratidin’s Lalmonirhat correspondent Rezaul Karim Manik, and Daily Sun’s Lalmonirhat correspondent Tonmoy Ahmed Nayan.
Other officer bears are – vice-presidents Nupur Akter, Saidul Islam, Md Labu Mia, and Rashedul Islam Rashed, joint general secretaries Md Anwarul Haque Milon, Kajol Kumar Neel, and Selina Akter Sweety, Assistant Organising Secretary Md Asaduzzaman Jim Babu, Office Secretary Umme Sadika Shurovi, Assistant Office Secretary Sourav Saha, Finance Secretary Md Shimul Mia, Assistant Finance Secretary Nazmul Hasan Limon, Women and Child Affairs Secretary Ganga Rani, Event Secretary Mithun Roy, Religious Affairs Secretary Shahidul Islam, Publicity Secretary Mahabur Rahman, Work and Planning Secretary Fatema Khandakar Nancy, Literature and Cultural Affairs Secretary Shib Sundar Barman, Health and Human Resources Secretary Md Golam Mosaib, Sports Secretary Chan Mia, Relief and Disaster Management Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Social Welfare Secretary Shahriar Rakib Shaad, Information and Technology Secretary Niramoy Kumar Roy, Education and Study Circle Secretary Mabiya Rahman, and Hospitality Secretary Mukti Roy.

With the new leadership, it is expected that the Lalmonirhat district unit Shuvosangho will become more dynamic and play an important role in humanitarian and social welfare activities.
