Bashundhara Shuvosangho has stood beside orphaned and underprivileged children in Jamalganj upazila of Sunamganj, distributing hygiene items as part of its humanitarian initiative.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Jamalganj upazila unit organised the programme at Jamalganj Hafizia Nurania Madrasa and Orphanage on Monday.
During the event, the children were given hygiene items, including detergent powder, soap, mustard oil, and other necessary supplies. The orphaned children expressed joy and excitement on receiving the gifts.
They thanked Bashundhara Shuvosangho for the humanitarian gesture and offered special prayers for the overall well-being of the organisation, making the occasion even more heart-touching.
The programme was led by Bashundhara Shuvosangho Jamalganj upazila unit president Md Shaheen Alam. Others present included adviser Abdul Ahad, general secretary Asad Nur, joint general secretary Sadikur Rahman Swadhin Khan, assistant organising secretary Md Taher Ahmed, sports secretary Md Moniruzzaman, office secretary Enamul Haque and assistant office secretary Kamran Hossain Ayon, along with other members of the organisation.
Guests at the event included Imam of Jamalganj Central Jame Mosque and assistant director of Jamalganj Hafizia Nurania Madrasa and Orphanage, Hafiz Maulana Nur Uddin, and teacher of the same institution Hafiz Maulana Deen Islam.
