Bashundhara Shuvosangho has extended support to a talented student from Lama upazila of Bandarban to pursue admission in a medical college.
The assistance was provided during a programme organised by Shuvosangho’s Lama upazila unit on Friday evening at the Lama Press Club auditorium.
The student, Md Sajib, son of Md Hanif of Ward No. 7, Lama Municipality, and a meritorious pupil of Government Matamuhuri College, Lama, has recently earned admission to Cox’s Bazar Medical College.
During the programme, the Bashundhara Shuvosangho Lama upazila unit provided support to expedite his admission process, and assured that the organisation would continue to stand by him in the future.
The organization’s upazila unit President Md Shahidul Islam presided over the event. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, General Secretary of Lama Press Club and adviser to the Lama upazila unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho, attended the programme as the chief guest.
Daily Kaler Kantho Lama and Alikadam correspondent Md Tanfizur Rahman, Daily Sun reporter Md Sahab Uddin Ritu, and President of Lama Upazila Rural Journalists’ Union Md Rafiqul Islam were present as special guests.
