Bashundhara Shuvosangho has officially inaugurated its newly formed Chuadanga district committee, with ASM Abdur Rouf appointed as president and Hemant Kumar Singh Roy as general secretary.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Saturday, featuring guiding speeches from Shuvosangho unit advisers Nazmul Haque Swapan, Maruf Sarwar Babu, Talim Khasru, Zaman Akhtar, and Zisan Ahmed.
The event was attended by Shuvosangho central committee members, including Vice-Presidents Dr Munshi Abu Saif and Sumon Parvez, Humayon Kabir Rimu, Helena Nasrin, Samiul Islam, Moin Ashraf, Firoz Hossain, Mikail Hossain, Russell Ali, Nafis Ahmed, Kamal Pasha, and Sadman Shakib Rakesh.
Adviser Nazmul Haque Swapan said, "Shuvosangho stands for uniting people in the pursuit of good deeds. I thank Bashundhara Group for initiating this noble effort, which is sure to succeed."
Following the meeting, a tree-planting initiative was held on the premises of the Chuadanga District Lawyers' Association. Marking the theme "Plant Trees, Save the Future," the new committee began its journey with this symbolic act.
