Bashundhara Shuvosangho conducted a blood grouping campaign at Nayarhat Gono Biddapith in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital, on Monday.
Gono Bishwabidyalay unit President Faisal Ahmed, Vice President Ashraful Islam Sajjad, Finance Secretary Nusaiba Islam, Secretary Masuda Tasnim Kriti, and members Israt Jahan Esha and Tanjila Monir Trisha were present at the event.
Faisal Ahmed said, “Shuvosangho members have tried to put our sense of responsibility towards the society into practice.”
“A donor network and database created from the blood grouping campaign play an important role in dealing with the blood crisis in the future,” he said.
Shuvosangho members said that the blood grouping campaign was organised to raise awareness about blood donation and all issues related to blood diseases. They believe it not only promotes health awareness but also sets a unique example of humanity.
