Bashundhara Shuvosangho distributed dustbins to five educational and social institutions in Subarnachar of Noakhali on Monday, promoting cleaner, greener environments.
The beneficiary institutions include Purba Charbata School and College, Charbata Habibia Government Primary School, Habibia Community Clinic, Habibia Quran Education Centre, and Purba Charbata Social Welfare Council.
Mohammad Saleh Uddin, principal of Purba Charbata School and College, attended the distribution ceremony as chief guest, with Shuvosangho upazila unit president Arifur Rahman in the chair.
Shuvosangho district unit advisers Akbar Hossain Sohag and Mujahidul Islam Sohel, along with upazila unit general secretary Mohib Ullah Mohib, were present on the occasion.
The programme began with a student-led cleanliness drive, where participants actively cleaned the school premises and surrounding areas using baskets and brooms.
Mujahidul Islam Sohel said that Shuvosangho consistently undertakes good deeds to raise social awareness, and this commitment will continue in the future.
Coastal Environment Protection Movement president Abdul Bari Bablu and teacher Mohammad Delwar Hossain were among the local dignitaries present on the occasion.
