Bashundhara Shuvosangho has organised a handwriting and quiz competition at Babupur Kashim Uddin Bidyapeeth in the Chandani union of Rajbari district.
About 40 out of over 300 students were selected to participate in the competition held on Monday, while the top five winners were awarded in the two events.
Shuvosangho Adviser Salam Tasir was the chief guest at the event with Rajbari unit President Ashraf Hossain Khan in the chair.
The school’s head teacher, Selina Khatun; Amirul Islam, assistant head teacher; Kamrul Hossain, assistant teacher; Jahangir Hossain, Kaler Kantho correspondent; and Hafizur Rahman, assistant general secretary of Shuvosangho, addressed the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Ashraf Hossain Khan said that Bashundhara Group has been making an outstanding contribution to the economic progress of Bangladesh.
“Shuvosangho Rajbari district unit has been actively engaged in improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged people through various initiatives,” he said.
