“When I love someone, I love from die-hard. Love has strength as like the truth,” Popular actress Jaya Ahsan said while giving an interview with the Kolkata-based daily ‘Sangbad Pratidin’.
‘Sangbad Pratidin’ made a story about Jaya as her new film 'Ardhangini' directed by Kaushik Ganguly will be released on June 2.
In the interview, Jaya said there is no insecurity in falling in love with someone. “If have (insecurity) I conceal this”.
The Bangladeshi actress started her film career in Kolkata in 2013 with ‘Aborto’ a film by Arindam Sil.
Later, she acted in many Indian films including Ekti Bangali Bhooter Goppo, Rajkahini, Eagoler Chokh, Bhalobashar Shohor, Bishorjan, Aami Joy Chatterjee, Ek Je Chhilo Raja, Bijoya, Binisutoy, and Ardhangini.
Jaya won Bangladesh National Film Award for best actress five times for her performances in the films Guerrilla (2011), Chorabali (2012), Zero Degree (2015), Debi (2018) and Alatchakra (2021).
