Gazi Jasim Uddin has taken charge as the head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police.
This information was given through a post on the CID's Facebook page on Monday (March 17).
The CID said that Gazi Jasim Uddin took charge as the CID chief on Sunday. On March 9, Additional IGP Md. Matiur Rahman Sheikh, the head of the CID, was transferred from the CID to the Police Headquarters. In this situation, DIG Gazi Jasim Uddin will perform this duty until a new officer takes charge of the CID.
