Granting dearness allowance is logical: CA press secretary

The Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, has made a comment that the decision to provide dearness allowance to government employees is highly rational.

He made this statement on Sunday while inaugurating a training program on agricultural journalism at the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB).

“The decision to provide dearness allowance to government employees is very logical. If it can be boosted slightly further, the economy will recover.”

Referring to the previous government, he also said, “You established a corruption-based economy, yet you have the audacity to make bold statements."
