The authorities of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), have published the honours final exam results of martyr Abu Sayed, a student from the English Department under academic year 2019-2020, who tragically lost his life during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
Sayed secured a CGPA of 3.30 out of 4.0, placing 14th in the combined merit list.
Mohammad Ali, Additional Director of the Public Relations, Information and Publication Division of the university, confirmed the matter on Sunday.
Abu Sayed, a key coordinator of the quota reform movement for government jobs at BRUR, led the protest from the front during the movement.
On July 16, Sayed was killed in police firing during the movement. He was buried in Pirganj upazila in the district the next day.
