Along with other members, the PSC(Public Service Commission) Chairman has resigned.
They submitted their resignations on Tuesday afternoon, confirmed SM Matiur Rahman, the PSC’s public relations officer, to the media.
According to a PSC official, in addition to the chairman, 12 other members have also submitted their resignation letters. However, two members have not yet submitted theirs.
The anti-discrimination student movement has been calling out for a reformation regarding PSC. Sarjish Alam, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, raised the issue on Facebook on Monday, calling for a change. A group of students surrounded the PSC office later on the same day.
