Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus will on Saturday sit for talks with five major political parties, Islami advocacy group Hefazat-e-Islam and a leftist alliance to discuss reforms in state mechanisms.
Shafiqul Alam, press secretary of the interim government head, said it to the media.
The parties have already been invited to join the talks at state guesthouse Jamuna. Each delegation has been allotted about half-an-hour to discuss reform-related issues with Yunus starting from 2.30pm on Saturday.
The alliance of leftist parties would also get half-an-hour.
Dr. Yunus would first meet with a delegation from BNP, followed by delegates from Jamaat-e-Islami, Ganatantra Manch, the alliance of leftist parties, Hefazat-e-Islam, Islami Andolon Bangladesh and Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party.
