Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Tuesday said police members who have not yet joined their duties will be brought under the law.
The Adviser made this remark to reporters after a Law and Order Committee meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Secretariat.
The Security Adviser said, “Those who have not joined, we will not call the police. We will call them criminals.”
The adviser announced a decision to recruit new members for the Ansar, police, and BGB, stating, “We have decided to recruit for the Ansar, police, and BGB. You will receive the recruitment notice for sub-inspectors within a few days.”
