Tarique Rahman acquitted in sedition case in Noakhali

BNP Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman has been acquitted in a sedition case filed in Noakhali in 2014.

Special Judge Ahsan Tarique passed the verdict on Tuesday mentioning Tarique Rahman as innocent.  

Noakhali district BNP general secretary Advocate Abdur Rahman confirmed the matter to the media.

He said Noakhali district unit Jubo League convener Ekramul Haque Biplab registered the sedition case against Tarique Rahman in 2014.
