The Advisory Council will hold a dialogue with political parties before the commissions formed to reform six key sectors begin work.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told this to reporters at a media briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Monday.
“Earlier, the interim government wanted to sit with the parties to discuss the recommendations of the commissions. But, the government has backtracked from its decision.”
The commissions, which were supposed to start their work from October 1, would do so after the dialogues, he said.
As the political parties are stakeholders in the reform initiatives, the government would seek their opinions during the discussion, he said.
