Ex-MP Jannat Ara Henry, her husband arrested

Former lawmaker of Sirajganj-2 constituency Jannat Ara Henry and her husband former chairman of Sirajganj zilla parishad Shamim Taluqdar were arrested from Moulvibazar district on Monday.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained them in a case filed over an attack and killing during the anti-discrimination student movement on August 4.   

Md. Mashiur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police and RAB media officer, confirmed the matter.
