Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised a tree plantation event in Chandanaish Upazila of Chattogram, reports Daily Sun.
The tree plantation initiative was held in memory of the martyrs of the anti-autocracy movement.
On Monday morning, trees were planted on the premises of Satbaria Bara Aowlia Hamedia Alim Madrasha in the Satbariya area of the upazila.
Members of the Chandanaish unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho planted saplings of various fruit-bearing and forest trees as part of this program.
Regarding the tree plantation, president of Chandanaish unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Md. Saiful Islam said, "This initiative is in honor of the martyrs of the July revolution. We will continue this activity throughout the month. Bashundhara Shuvosangho will always stand by society and the people of the country through good deeds."
Upazila unit members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Md. Maruf, Md. SP Sakib, Md. Arif, Md. Shawkat Uddin, Md. Chowdhury Saiful, Sujon Pal, Md. Imon, and Md. Farhad Rafi were present at that time.
