Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Thursday called on newly appointed Bangladesh foreign secretary Md Jashim Uddin at the foreign ministry in the capital.
During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on China-Bangladesh relations, pragmatic cooperation in various fields, regional and international issues of common concern, Chinese embassy said, reports BSS.
They also discussed on celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Bangladesh and China.
