Ex-MP Mazharul Islam Sujon arrested

Ex-MP Mazharul Islam Sujon arrested

Former lawmaker of Thakurgaon-2 constituency Mazharul Islam Sujon was arrested on Wednesday on charges of extortion and issuing death threats.

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Sujan from the Nikunj area in the capital. 

RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Assistant Director A N M Imran Khan confirmed the arrest.
