BRTA conducts mobile courts at bus terminals

Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) is conducting mobile courts at public transport to stop charging extra fares during Eid journeys.

BRTA conducted mobile courts at Sayedabad, Fulbaria, Mohakhali, and Gabtali bus terminals and adjacent counters on Sunday.  

After the drive, BRTA Executive Magistrate Samar Kumar Pal said they have found no anomaly during the drive. Every bus companies are selling tickets at a government-fixed rate.

On the other hand, the transport owners association said they have taken all kinds of measures to stop passenger harassment during the Eid journey.
