The Namaz E Janazas (funeral prayers) of Saiful Islam Alif, a lawyer who lost his life in a violent clash involving police, lawyers, and supporters of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, were held on Wednesday.
The first namaz E janaza was held at approximately 10:45am on the Chattogram court premises.
Later, his body was taken to the city's Jamiatul Falah Mosque grounds where the second janaza was held.
Both the janazas were attended by lawyers and locals.
According to sources, a final Janaza will be held in the afternoon in Lohagara, Chattogram, followed by his burial at the location.
