Planning Minister M A Mannan hoped that the ongoing inflation will decrease in the country in December following the world inflation rate.
“The inflation has decreased slightly in the last three months. It will also decrease in December. The country’s overall inflation is good. There is no scope for unnecessary expenditure. At present, there is no dollar crisis in the country but we have some deficiencies. However, it (dollar crisis) will be fine in next March or April,” he said.
Mannan came up with the observation while inaugurating an inter-district wrestling competition at Sunamganj Stadium on Saturday.
Sunamganj deputy commissioner Jahangir Hossain, additional deputy commissioner (Revenue) and convener of the wrestling competition Zakir Jafran, Sunamganj municipality mayor Nader Bakht, additional superintendent of police Abu Sayeed, district sports organisation general secretary Dewan Emdad Reza and member secretary of the wrestling competition Abdullah Al Noman, among others, spoke the function.
