Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a public rally at Jashore stadium organised by the local Awami League.
On the occasion of the rally, Jashore has now turned into a festive town while people of all strata as well as leaders and activists of the ruling party have been enthusiastic, reports BSS.
Talking to the reporters at the Jashore stadium, Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak hoped that no people in Jashore and its adjacent districts will remain at home rather they will throng the district stadium to hear Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as they are eagerly waiting for the occasion.
"Jashore has now become a place of development in the tenure of the current government which was in the past an area of terrorism," he said.
The local administration has taken necessary measures on the occasion of the Prime Minister's visit and the public rally.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will arrive in Jashore in the morning on a day-long visit to attend several programmes.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will attend the President Parade at Bangladesh Air Force Academy.
She will also take the salute at the passing out parade at the BAF Academy.
