Dalia gets AL ticket to vie Rangpur city polls

The ruling Awami League nominated Advocate Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia for the upcoming Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) election.

The election of the RCC is scheduled to be held on December 27.

A press statement signed by Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua revealed the information on Wednesday. 

Rangpur City Corporation was formed on 28 June 2012 with 33 wards.

Awami League candidate Sarfuddin Ahmed was the first mayor of the RCC.
