Palestinians in Khan Younis are once again being forced to flee their homes following new evacuation orders from Israeli forces, reports Al Jazeera.
Many of the displaced are now enduring harrowing conditions, with no access to food, water, shelter, or sanitation. Forced to sleep on sidewalks and streets, they find themselves without basic necessities such as tents or bathrooms.
This marks yet another chapter in what has become a relentless cycle of displacement, now stretching into its tenth month. For some Palestinians, this is the tenth time they have been uprooted from Khan Younis. Despite seeking safety, they continue to face danger, as Israeli forces target areas even after evacuation orders are issued.
Those instructed to move to the western parts of Khan Younis, specifically al-Mawasi, have found little respite, as that area too has come under attack. According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), over 75,000 Palestinians have been displaced in the southern parts of Khan Younis in recent days, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
