A military base in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr, where US occupation troops and their allied militants are stationed, has come under a missile attack, Press TV reports.
Loud explosions were heard early on Saturday as several projectiles slammed into an installation run by American occupation forces at the Conoco gas field.
There were no immediate reports about the extent of damage at the military facility, and possible casualties.
Sources said the blasts came at the same time that US military aircraft carried out a raid against the al-Joura district near the provincial capital city of Dayr al-Zawr.
American military helicopters flew overhead after the missile strike, and launched a number of flares in the sky over the Conoco gas field.
